Dear Fiddle 'n' Feet (Tamara, Jamie, & Sam),
Thank you so much for your incredible visit to our school yesterday! Not only were the performances fun, lively, and interesting, but you were able to convey such beneficial educational information about the origin of particular songs, dances, and instruments in a way that was engaging for our students.
As I spoke with my students following the performance, all were particularly intrigued by the jaw harp, so I plan to purchase one for our classroom. On a personal note, I have told my husband for years that I would like to learn clogging; Tamara, you have inspired me! I plan on enrolling in a class this summer.
Once again, thank you all so much for your visit. Young Audiences provides such an incredible encounter and interaction with the performing arts that many of these children would not otherwise experience.
